People recommended me to their friends, who became customers and eventually part of my community. It was about real human connection. Today, it feels different. This week alone, I experienced the following:
\u2022 An entrepreneur whose reach has been massively restricted overnight, threatening his livelihood.
\u2022 A musician fighting against dozens of fake profiles that rip off his audience.
\u2022 I read a report about \"algorithmic smuggling<\/a>The word \u201cdemocracy\u201d restricted the reach\u2014only when it was replaced with \u201cvegetable soup\u201d did the post start circulating again.

If we have to use code words to avoid punishment, we are not building a business, but becoming slaves to algorithms. In the end, not only do I not know who is seeing me and why, but an automatically adapted version of my content could also be played out. And I wouldn't even know it. Social media has become a dependency model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They tell you, \u201cIf it's not working, you need to optimize harder.\u201d The truth is simpler: you're building on borrowed land. And borrowed land can be taken away from you at any time. The algorithm turns your content into a disposable item among many others. You are no longer shown to the people who follow you, but to those who follow your topic.
